Follow the A354 and the new relief road into Weymouth: at Dorchester Road, take the second exit at Manor Roundabout signposted to Weymouth onto Weymouth Way. Straight across at Chaffeys Roundabout  and along Goldcroft Road taking the first left at Thornhill Cresent then first left again and the Lakeside Guest House lies on the right hand side three quarters of the way down the hill.

By Train. If you arrive at Weymouth by Train, we recommend that you take a taxi to Lakeside. (Approx price of £6 for the short journey) . Remember the post code is DT4 0ES 60 Goldcroft Avenue.

You can use this TrainLine link to arrange your journey to Weymouth. https://www.thetrainline.com/

Walking. From the Train Station go the opposite direction to the Sea. (The Jubilee clock on the Sea front can be seen from the main road.) You will pass a petrol station on your right and continue past the Kentucky Fried Chicken building (KFC). A car park with the thatched RSPB bird reserve centre is in the far corner, head for that and you will see a bridge and a path. Follow the path (keeping left) and go over a stone bridge and then at the gate with the Kingfisher bird on, turn right. Lakeside is about 50 yards along the path (across the road) and you can cross the road (be careful and look both ways) and follow the path through the ‘Kissing Gate’ ( remember a kiss with your partner for Luck!). Lakeside is on the left when you get to the road. Goldcroft Avenue. This walk takes about 14 minutes.
