Lakeside Guest House is a transformed Family home and your Host Martin wishes you a very warm welcome! His Family have lived here since the early sixties . Lakeside lies in its own grounds with car parking in the front drive and wonderful views of the RSPB Radipole Lake Bird Reserve from the Double Bedroom and the Twin room, both which overlook the large Garden which is available to guests.
You are a one minute walk from the Radipole Lake RSPB Bird Reserve with it´s extensive walks and bird hides and the popular Visitor Centre and it is just a 10 minute walk to Weymouth sea front and the South West Coastal Path, train station, Weymouth’s wonderful beach and promenade and to Weymouth Town centre with all amenities, including pubs, restaurants, clubs, shops and services.
Lakeside offers a unique, quiet relaxing nights rest in scenic surroundings in a residential part of Weymouth. Lakeside has ample free parking so you are free to explore Weymouth without parking worries which can be a ‘headache’ especially in the Summer months.
Your Host Martin, offers evening meals if required and during the Summer in the Garden the Grill is available for Guests…..what more can you think of than sitting at The Round Table with something grilled and some refreshment after a hard day at the Beach! Lakeside also offers a luggage delivery/pick up service for walkers who wish to travel light. Please see the tariff page for rates.
